Her talk focuses on successfully managing and treating female athletes with concussions.
Join our regional leaders in Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation through the University of Michigan, Michigan Medicine, and local recognized health and academic institutions to discuss the health concerns of female athletes, from the weekend warrior to the Olympian.
This symposium is a system-wide event, hosted by multiple departments within Michigan Medicine, including Orthopaedics, MedSport, NeuroSport, Family Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Pediatrics. The symposium will be a one-day lecture-based educational event, serving physicians, physician assistants, physical therapists, athletic trainers, physical therapy assistants, nurses, coaches, professors, and allied health professionals. Our all-female panel will discuss women’s health concerns and education for all professionals in the sports medicine and rehabilitation field.
