Born and raised in Germany, Dr. Tristan Meier completed his academic training in clinical psychology at Pepperdine University in Los Angeles. He went on to complete a clinical neuropsychology internship on the Adult Track at NYU Rusk Rehabilitation and is currently a postdoctoral fellow in clinical neuropsychology and rehabilitation psychology at Michigan Medicine in their Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation department.

Dr. Meier has specific interest in sports neuropsychology and rehabilitation psychology. He has developed a broad clinical background across pediatric, forensic, and rehabilitation neuropsychology settings in both private practice and hospital environments. His experience also includes delivering community-based education for individuals affected by stroke and traumatic brain injury. His clinical and research interests center on the treatment and long-term outcomes of traumatic brain injury, particularly in the chronic phase.
