Director of Science and Technology, One Mind

Ramona Hicks is the Director of Science and Technology at One Mind, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the acceleration and implementation of scientific advances in neuroscience.  Dr. Hicks graduated from the University of California with a B.S. in Biology, received an M.A. in Physical Therapy from Stanford University, and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Connecticut Health Sciences Center.  Prior to joining One Mind in 2014, she held faculty appointments at the University of Kentucky and the University of Washington, where currently she is an Affiliate Professor in the Department of Neurological Surgery.  Dr. Hicks also served as a Program Director at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), where she managed the traumatic brain injury (TBI) research portfolio.
