Dr. Jak joined U-M Physical Medical & Rehabilitation in 2026. Dr. Jak received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology, with specialization in neuropsychology, from the University of Cincinnati in 2004. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at the VA San Diego Healthcare System/Veteran’s Medical Research Foundation from 2004-2007. Previously, Dr. Jak was a Professor at the University of California, San Diego, and a Staff Neuropsychologist and Neuropsychology Program Director at the Veterans Affairs San Diego Healthcare System. Dr. Jak’s research interests are in the neuropsychology of concussion as well as aging and dementia, cognitive rehabilitation, and novel interventions at the intersection of physical and mental health.
