Jenna McCloskey is a Ph.D. student in the Neuroscience Graduate Program (NGP) at the University of Michigan. Her prior research experience is rooted in behavioral neuroscience, with independent projects examining how traumatic brain injury (TBI) alters decision-making, reward sensitivity, and function of the frontal cortex and nucleus accumbens. Her current research direction under the mentorship of Jonathan Lifshitz focuses on the secondary injury cascade following TBI, with an emphasis on rod microglia and their role in post-injury neuroinflammation and circuit dysfunction.
