Lecturer

Dr. Mike Mignano is a lecturer within the Movement Science Program in the School of Kinesiology at the University of Michigan. He primarily teaches in the areas of Scientific Writing and Global Engagement courses. Dr. Mignano also mentors student independent study projects and the U-M Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP). His research interests lie in the psychological and social areas of sport and exercise. Dr. Mignano has previously taught in the subjects of sport and exercise psychology, sociocultural areas of sport, adapted sports and fitness, sport management, principles of coaching, and physical activity courses. 

Dr. Mignano is interested in the psychosocial aspects of return-to-play protocols.
