The University of Michigan Exercise & Sports Science Initiative and the Michigan Concussion Center present Concussion Prevention: A Multi-Disciplinary Approach. Guests will learn concussion prevention methods from experts in athlete conditioning, equipment manufacturing, and sports policy at the state, national, and international levels.

Panelists include:

  • JT Eckner – Associate Director of Research, University of Michigan Concussion Center;¬†Associate Professor, Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, University of Michigan Medicine
  • Grant Goulet – Vice President, Product Innovation, Xenith
  • Kelly Sarmiento, Public Health Advisor, Division of Injury Prevention’s Traumatic Brain Injury Team, CDC
  • Ross Tucker – Science and Research Consultant, World Rugby
  • Mark Uyl – Director, Michigan High School Athletic Association
